Kindergarten Sight Words Practice – St. Patrick’s Day Activities – Editable

Looking for St. Patrick’s Day themed sight word practice for Kindergarten? Students will use spinners and word mats to practice reading Kindergarten sight words with this fun St. Patrick’s Day themed spin and cover Kindergarten sight words activity.

Spin and Cover Directions: Use a pencil and paperclip on the spinner. Students will spin, and read the sight word that it lands on. Then students will “cover up” the sight word on their sight word mat.

You can add to the fun by using St. Patrick’s Day themed mini-erasers as covers!

Your students will love with this fun way to practice reading sight words.

This activity is editable. You will find a link to the color and black & white versions of each mat in Google Slides. There are text boxes already set up on each mat so that all you have to do is replace the text with the sight words you’re currently teaching.
