Place Value Games – Google Sheets™ – Expanded Form – Solve a Mystery Game

Looking for fun place value games for your 4th grade students? This activity will make the perfect addition to your 4th grade math centers!

This is an escape room activity for Google Sheets™. Students will work their way through twelve numbers, and type in the expanded form of each number, to find the missing eggs!

When students type in the wrong answer they will see a lock remain beside their answer. When students type in the correct answer they will see an egg appear.

In order to return the eggs to the Henrietta Hen, students will have to solve a final riddle.

This activity can be used for:

• distance learning
• small groups
• independent practice
• whole-group review
